Gurudwara Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came to this place travelling through Ropar, Railon and Nandpurkalar. While Guruji was staying under a 'ber' tree outside the village, a couple, Mai Mari and her husband Rup Chand, requisted Guruji to bless their house. Guruji granted their wish. Mai Mari and her husband served Guruji with great devotion. Guruji stayed their for 17 days. Guruji gave an 'edict' to Rup Chand and spoke that if anybody sees this edict, he shall see me'. From here Guruji travelled through Pamor, Bhagrana and Patiala before he proceeded towards Delhi. It is said that child Guru Gobind Rai also stayed here for 2 days on his way to Anandpur Sahib while coming from Patna. Gurdwara Sahib premises in spread over 3.5 acres. The day of Puranmasi is celebrated here every month
