Baba Biram Shah Dutt was born in Kanjrur village in district Gurdaspur in the house of Pandit Kelo Ram Dutt. He was very religious from his childhood and became a Sikh of 6th master Guru Hargobind. He moved to Amritsar in Guru Hargobind’s court and devoted all his time in the service of Langar.
