Ashutosh - Founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan

In 1984, when the state of Punjab was engulfed in the flames of terrorism, when there was a fear dwelling in everyone's hearts; it was at that moment Shri Ashutosh Maharaj, a harbringer of peace brought about a wave of change. He gave the people of Punjab new meaning to life. Under the roof of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, he proposed a way to end differences enabling everyone to sit under one roof as brothers and sisters.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan is non-denominational, non-profit organization, which has been working globally towards one goal –to "Help Humanity". They believe raising humanity to a higher collective consciousness is the prime key to attaining global peace and a restored society. Enlightened individuals bear the foundation of an ideal society paving the way for emancipation of a restored universe.

Through the process of Brahm Gyan Meditation, every individual is able to connect with the source – their soul. The connection with that source enables people to be guided by their inner wisdom and encourages them to perform righteous actions for the betterment of society. This meditation has been helping thousands across the globe to break the shackles of stress and experience the freedom by diving into the ocean of peace and love. No science can change and no technology can bring about peace by Spirituality can and is.

Over the years 1000s of educated individuals belonging to but not limited to well-off families including doctors, lawyers, industrialists, etc have dedicated their lives to help in Shri Ashutosh Ji's mission of bringing about a change by ending differences and establishing peace in our world.

Media has covered a lot of their activities giving us a great perspective on what a difference this organization is making in the world. Their efforts are truly commendable.

1. Youth Empowerment Program - Saving the Future of our World. The technique of meditation has helped the youth change their approach and perception towards life bringing them success in every sphere of life like education, career and other activities. They are now better prepared to face challenges and are able to cope with the stress and pressures of this competitive world. They have become socially responsible citizens. Their ‘care-free' attitude has changed to ‘care-for’ attitude. Their independence remains secured and shielded under the guidance and direction of their own awakened conscious self.

2. Prisoner Reformation Program - turning them from criminals into hard working and creative people. We believe that circumstances are the real culprits. Those who are strong can resist that rush of emotions which makes one make the wrong choice. Those who are weak, fall prey. Society calls such people a waste. We call them pure uranium. Their energy is uncontrolled, but if we make efforts to help them channelise their energy and intelligence, we will one day be able to truly realise the much awaited vision of world peace http://epaper.timesofindia.com/Default/Scripting/ArticleWin.asp?From=Archive&Source=Page&Skin=pastissues2&BaseHref=CAP%2F2005%2F09%2F07&ViewMode=GIF&GZ=T&PageLabel=3&EntityId=Ar00302&AppName=2
