Malik Khushi Muhammad was born in 1927, in Amritsar, Punjab, India. He came to Pakistan after the partition of India in 1947. He was the awami poet of Pakistan currently residing in Lahore. He was a disciple of Baba Maoj deen and guru-brother of Baba Malang Sahib.
