What Gurbani teaches the Sikh
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh
Gurbani tells us of the benefits to following the teachings of the Guru; there is no tuk in the Guru Granth Sahib which advises the Sikh to follow anyone else. All benefits are obtained when one follows the true teaching of the Guru Granth; no where has the Guru told the Sikh to look else where.
Which "Historical Granths of the Khalsa Panth"' are above the Guru Granth Sahib! - NONE. The Granth is the ONLY GURU - If you call yourself a Sikh then it is your duty to understand Gurbani and follow the instructions given - Looking elsewhere for your spiritual well-being is futile and a weakness.
You say that these "Historical Granths" are "proven by Akaal Thakat Shaib, and a large part of the sikh history from 1700 century to 1800" SO WHAT? They do not become the Guru of the Sikh - that respect should only be given to the holy Granth. First and foremost, a Sikh needs to follow the teaching of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Nothing else should supersede this primary function:
Punjabi: "ਸੱਬ ਸਿੱਖਣ ਕੋ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੈ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਾਨਯੋ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ" Transliteration: "Sab sikhan kō hukam hai gurū mānyō granth" English: "All Sikhs are commanded to take the Granth as Guru." Guru Gobind Singh, October, 1708, Nanded |
Guru Gobind Singh has given the Sikhs very clear directions - Why do you choose to ignore these directions? Is it a sign of weakness or do you wish not to follow the Hukam of the tenth master. If the Guru wants to give different instructions, then I am sure he would have included them with the above tuks. In spiritual matters, the Guru is my guide and that is how all Sikhs respect the holy Granth - It is their one and only spiritual guide in this world.

The Sikhs listen to the Teachings imparted by the True Guru.
Those who surrender to the True Guru's Will are imbued with the four-fold Love of the Lord. |

As Hari Singh Suggests
A Sikh listens to the instructions given by the Guru not by others like the Akal Takhat or SGPC (adding: taksaal, 3HO, nihngs or Nishkam Seva societies), etc. All benefits are obtained when one follows the true teaching of the Guru Granth; no where has the Guru told the Sikh to look else where.
So Do not listen to My Interpretations or Hari Singh interpretations, or Professor Sahib Singh Interpetation, or any Manmohan singh interpretations or nihang singh iterpretations, missionaries interpretations, 3HO Interpretations, mahindra singh interpretatins, guruka interpretations, or mine interpretations :). Gurbani has given it's own interpretation within itself, follow it and my suggestion to you is to be cool and do not touch articles without discussion.
There are other articles need to brushed on Gurmat philosophy have touch them. Meat is neither primary nor secondary but tertiary issue :)
