Lacking that it looks like it was just made up to get a false perspective across by someone unwilling to stand behind his words. To bad such drivel got quoted here.

The writers of this page are right! Whoever said the quote is an idiot, it is, as you say just so much rubbish. Or a crock of…odure, as someone translated Guru Nanak's words concerning the Jains. Probably made up by someone to get his point across, actually the exact opposite is true as defence by force of arms is part and parcel of the laws that assure the Self evident truths that were only made self evident first in the minds of the men who framed the docuement (we call them Patriots--the British called them revolutionaries) and then on a piece of paper called the:

Declaration of Independance:

Americans (liberals and conservatives) know that such freedoms must be defended once established. You can be sure that is what the army is for. richard
