Talk:Creation of India and Pakistan

I find it interesting that the word divided - means to cut into two - di being two. My tendency seeing the word itself divid ed is to reunite it - correcting the obvious typo, but it roughly visually at least resembles the size of Pakistan vs India. So like some small piece of poetry by Gertrude Stien (A chicken on the grass, alas, alas) perhaps, it is best left this way - but I think it needs something - so it is understood as done on purpose. I will atempt to do that.

Of course, it is obvious to anyone the division was a division at all. One has to wonder if it was done so it would be reunited one day. Both nations were intended to be secular at first, but greedy, evil people coveting others land started the massacres that began at (or before?) that stroke of midnight. In a land of vendettas - many were settled only to give birth to many more.
