Bhai Nanu's caste

Bhai Nanu's caste is not mentioned in the quoted source (Multani Sindhi). It is simply Pyara Singh Padam's interpolation. Mahan Kosh does not agree with Pyara Singh Padam nor is Pyara Singh Padam able to refer to any primary history text indicating that Bhai Nanu was a Chhimba.

Also, he was not a resident of Dilvali Mohalla. He was there only temporarily in a Dharamshala along with other Sikh disciples like Bhai Uda, Bhai Jaita, and other close disciples who got martyred along with Guruji.
