It seems that according to the story, this man abandoned his wife to go sit in a Gurdwara. Guru Nanak left his family to take his travels but tended his family and returned. His wife is never mentioned did she have any life after his leaving or is she just left out of the story. would this kind of man be called a Sant. as refered to in one line in the story?
