According to a report published in 2007 by the UK Charity Commission, there were approximately 233 Sikh charities on the Central Register of Charities. These with a combined income of around £30 million.[1] In view of the fact that Sikhs form only about 500,000 of the total population of 64.1 million, [2] this gives
