Guru Nanak & A Leper

Guru Nanak Ji met a Leper during his journeys. It's in Bhai Bala's Janamsakhi. The place and Time is not mentioned in Janamsakhi. Some sources says that this happened during first udasi in Goindwal(Punjab).

guru ji went to a place with bhai bala and mardana where people treated them badly. no one was allowing guru sahib to stay there. so guru sahib went to a hut of a leper on outskirts of that town

guru sahib saw the bad condition of hut and sat on a side , neither leper able to see them nor they. guru sahib and his companions spend a night there next day when leper saw guru sahib he was bewildered and said that no one came to his hut and he felt blesed after watching them.

the leper was smelling foul and was living in very pitiable condition. guru sahib, after watching his condition utered a shabad

when guru sahib ji finished the shabad leper fell on guru's feet. when he touched guru's feet his heart and soul was blesed and he recovered from the disease of leprosy. he started reciting guru's name

in ecstacy that fakir ran towards the town and started telling people about his maraclous recovry. when guru ji was about to leave the place, residents came and fell on guru's feet and requested to pardon their sin and to halt for some days. after request, guru sahib stayed there and said that he would be happy if they would construct a dharamshaal for tourists and saints and provide them food and shelter. people accepted the order and constructes the dharamshaal . guru ji exclaimed people not to decieve anyone and always give the tenth part of their earning for good purposes
