Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi is build on the site where the 8th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Har Kishan Ji stayed when he visited Delhi to meet with the Emperor Aurangzeb. While in Delhi, Guru Ji, helped those who were suffering from a smallpox epidemic. At the age of 8 years old; he succumbed to smallpox himself and was cremated at what is now the site of Gurdwara Bala Sahib.
