Bidhi Chand Jandialvi (d.1654), was the son of the famous Bhai Handal (d.1648), and Mai Uttami, who was from a Chahal Jatt family both a Jatt couple of Jandiala Guru in the Majha, in Amritsar District of Punjab, BHai Handal was a prominent Sikh of the third Sikh Guru, Guru Amar Das Ji (1479-1574).

Bidhi Chand, after the death of his father, he became the Sikh priest of Jandiala Guru, and became an enemy of the Sikhs, Bidhi Chand, who compiled a granth and a janam sakhi of his own, He was a nefarious person, In both he sought to exalt Bhai Handal and belittle Guru Nanak. He married a Muslim Dancer, who bore him a Son named Devi Das. Because of his acts he was abandoned by his followers.

He founded his own sect named the Hindalis, Niranjania, which a century later, Akil Das also known as Harbhagat Niranjania, his descendant, was a State informer who revelled in spying on the Sikhs. He had had many of them arrested and executed. Most prominent among his victims were Bhai Taru Singh and Bhai Mehtab Singh Mirankotia.

During the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh during his rule between 1799-1839, he confiscated their land, and their belongings. The Hindalis were a very tiny minority, concentrated in Jandiala Guru only. But during the British rule (1849-1947), they enjoyed their wealth, and Land, given back to them.
