Are ther events which involve the community and or non Sikh participation or do they just keep to themselves.

or participate as Doctors, lawyers, engineers, taxi drivers, policemen or soldiers, etc. are they Keshdhari or blending in or adopting european habits. just some questions to flush out the article. my wife is from near Yuba City, Calf. we always go to the Gurdwaras and the stores whenever we are there. A big event is held every year which draws thousands of Sikhs and others of the community. At Berkeley there is a big Sikh owned bookstore which i frequent with many books i wish i could afford.
