Shingara Singh is a Punjabi singer and freelance radio/television presenter. He began his career by singing in the group called Shingar. He is most famous for the song "Accident Ho Gayi", 1990. He then went to work on Sabras Radio followed by local appearances on Vaisakhi Radio. He then signed up to Raaj Radio where he had a successful stint before joining Midland Asian Television Channel 6 (MATV) to replace Daljit Neer for the Punjabi programming, with Gurdhama De Yatra and Punjabian De Balle. The programmes are slowly starting to become popular with Punjabi audiences across the UK and Europe, following the success of Sanjha Panjab and Lok Virsa.
