Shastra Puja among Sikhs is primarily practiced by the **Nihang** warrior sect. It is beleived that the sword is a form of Adi Shakti (the primal energy) and is worshipped as an embodiment of the lord. It was popular among Hindu culture, but Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji reintroduced it to the Sikh community.
