my weary mind mixed you up with SinghKalsi, (the new photos) pain only allowed me two hours sleep ladt night.
Sat Shri Akal, Raidcmdr are you reading 五輪書. Musashi is great, putting ones self in the others shoes. I used to study Iaido, loved practicing the forms. Still have my wakazashi, bokken, ect. My room mate 20 years ago was a master in Iaido  and had many swords, but Aikido was his favorite. Last time we talked he had been in Japan with the big kahuna who picked him as his throwee, but the master took out his brush and gave him a very nice poem (shodo) of which he is particularly fond, given the man is a national treasure very hatomoto.
Sat Shri Akaal, Raidcmdr ji, Unfortunately in the shastars of GGS ji photo all we can see is the handles or ends. Is the Khanda of the fist Sikh Amrit really there, has someone kept 'providance on this fact? The Shastars of Baba Deep is a good photo as well.

In the following sentences, both by you, which is the easier to read?
Saw your name this morning on recent changes, haven't seen you in a year or so, so I went to the talk page to see what you were up to.

THE CORRECT PRONUNCIATION OF GURMUKHI/GURBANI IS VERY IMPORTANT!( IT TAKES MANY YEARS TO LEARN,NOT EASY). THIS IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE AS THIS WILL GIVE ONE GREATER MEANING AND KNOWLEDGE OF SCRIPT AND IN TURN A DEEPER AWARENESS. CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELEIF GURMUKHI IS A SEPARATE LANGUAGE EVEN TO PUNJABI LET ALONE HINDI OR SANSKRIT TO THAT MATTER. LEAVE "OM" WITH THE HINDUS LETS NOT INFRINGE ON THEIR TERRITORY AND LIKE WISE WITH MY SWORD ABREAST I MAKE SURE THEY DARE NOT INFRINGE ON THE WAY OF THE TRUE PATH WITH THEIR SUTTLE BUT HARMFUL GUILE.--[[User:Raidcmdr|Raidcmdr]] 07:54, 30 August 2008 (UTC) IK -O- A UN KAR WAHEGURU JI KI PHATEH!!!!
Your post leaves me in puzzlement, Mutia praises you one moment and then reverses it in the next sentence, which as you said got you a little steamed. Sorry, I can't read the Panjabi or Gurmukhi.

The correct pronunciation of gurmukhi/gurbani is very important! (it takes many years to learn, not easy to do! This is of the utmost importance as this will give one greater meaning and knowledge of script and in turn a deeper awareness. Contrary to popular belief gurmukhi is a separate language with its own script. It even differs from punjabi let alone hindi or sanskrit for that matter. Leave "OM" with the Hindus lets not infringe on their territory and like wise with my sword abreast I make sure they dare not infringe on the way of Sikhi's path with their suttle but harmful guile.
The first translator in Japanese got ship wrecked on some foreign shore and came back to Japan with the Americans who only wanted to do some trading. If I remember correctly the Japanese killed him, thinking that their language was from the Gods and the Emperor was the son of the Sun. They figured on keeping anyone from ever learning to speak Japanese, sometimes here when people put in Gurmukhi without a translation I know how  those first ''Gai-jin'' felt in Japan. Like the other looking from outside the window. The SGGS is after all in several languages, and if Guru Arjan and Guru Nanak Dev had spoken english that would be in their too.

The top (all caps) or the bottom with upper and lower case?
However like Mutia your response leaves me a little confused as it seems your on both sides of the fence. Studying other languages and then talking about people wearing his Bana, struting around and being laughed at.

I used to teach graphic design. Tests show that reading and comprehension are better with U/lc. I suspect that English and all the romanized languages are in use because of their use of U/lc. All the languages which use only caps have been marginalized, i think only because they were traditionally written only in all caps-. I usually get upset when i see i have hit caps lock and have not noticed, as i know that  its harder to read. 2. It is equated with shouting ones personal viewpoints. 3. I have to redo as I know it turns people off too be preached at--the perception studies point out-- aaaaah, but we could all just read a binary alphabet. 4. What if we were all the same height, how much more difficult and boring a world that might be?, regards richard//Rab Rakha
What little I know of Gurbani tells me that two words don't take 20 words in English to say. I see that Gurmukhi makes a deeper meaning available, I just can't understand what you are arguing for or against. Is it one world one God or keep the GGS a private club.

please erase after reading.
Anyway its good to see you contributing again.  Raab Rakha [[User:Allenwalla|Allenwalla]] 12:42, 22 February 2010 (UTC) and you're correct some language might get one kicked off.

Good choice. dote upon would be good as well.

Fondle = 1593 (implied in fondly), "treat with indulgence and affection," freq. of fond "dote upon" (see fond). Sense of "caress" first recorded 1796.
