Aad Sach (ਆਦਿ ਸਚ ) is part of the Maha Mantar which appears at the beginning of the Sikh scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Aad is derived from Sanskrit means The first, primary, beginning and also Beginning, origin, source, root and sach means true, reality, right. So the combined phrase means True in the beginning.
Original text: ੴ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪਰਖ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਆਦਿ ਸਚ ਜਗਾਦਿ ਸਚ ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚ ॥1॥
Transliteration: Ik oa(n)kaar sath naam karathaa purakh nirabho niravair akaal moorath ajoonee saibha(n) gur prasaadh ||

Translation: One Universal Creator God. The Name Is Truth. Creative Being Personified. No Fear. No Hatred. Image Of The Undying, Beyond Birth, Self-Existent. By Guru's Grace ~ Chant And Meditate: True In The Primal Beginning. True Throughout The Ages. True Here And Now. O Nanak, Forever And Ever True. ||1||
