The Pahari language is mentioned in the other article about the same village, rich with refs. to mountains, floods, i think a river? and a hunter of old. I ,from my studies, understand the word 'Pahari' as...guessing here mountain people's language skrt. pa= to protect, Hari=god or the mtns. where on feels closer to God, mtns. where people have always sought safety...hope I'm correct. I wonder if the hunter was a Sikh, a Paktun or a Rajput, etc.=if he was of another religion his welcome would enrich that story. | ||
