CHAKK PREMA. village 6 km northeast of Phagwara (31° 14`N, 75° 46`E) in Kapurthala district of the Punjab, has a historical shrine dedicated to GURU Hargobind. It is known as Gurdwara Jhanda Sahib Chhevin Patshahi. The old modest building has now been replaced by a spacious hall, with the sanctum in the middle. The Gurdwara is managed by the village SANGAT. A major part of funds for the new building came in the form of donations from SIKHs settled abroad.
