Pandit Ram Basant Singh, was 19th century famed Nirmala Saint and scholar, who was the Rajpurohit of the Maharaja of Patiala.
Early Life
Born to Pandit Ram Bishan, a Gaur Brahman of the village of Tohra, in the princely state of Nabha. He was cousin of Ram Tirth Singh.
Raj Purohit of Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala
Maharaja Bhupinder Singh was very impressed with the knowledge of Pandit Ram Basant Singh and appointed him as his Rajpurohit.
