Sardar Shiv Dev Singh (1875-1920's), was the Son of Sardar Rachpal Singh Sandhu, the Sardar (Chieftain), of Siranwali, village in tehsil Pasrur, Sialkot District of Punjab. He was the grandson of Sardar Mangal Singh (d. 1864). His grand Aunt, Rani Ishar kaur was married to Prince Kharak Singh (1801-1840), in 1815, at Amritsar. His great grandfather was Sardar Lal Singh Sandhu, and Great Great Grandfather was Dargah Singh Sandhu, who in the 1780s, converted to Sikhism. to be continued.....................
