Sant Sujan Singh Ji Maharaj was born to Bhai Gian Singh Ji and Mata Bhravaan Bai Ji on the 25th of October, 1911 with the blessings of Shrimaan Sant Bhola Singh Ji Maharaj (of Maghiana), in Bagh Village, Jhang District (Pakistan). Unbeknown to all, Maharaj Ji grew up to enlighten and bless an infinite multitude of Kalyugi devotees, through his keertan, bringing them closer to the path of Truth and the word of Guru Nanak. Coming from the family of Keertaniyaas, Maharaj Ji was blessed with a melodious voice and an unending love for Gurbani. At a very young age, Maharaj Ji enjoyed the blessings of Dhan Dhan Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj (Kaleraan Waale) and gained spiritual enlightenment in the form of Keertan. Babaji once said, "First we had Mardaana, and now we have Sujana." Even today, devotees from far and near, come to listen to the Keertan, and attain spiritual bliss.

After coming to Delhi in 1949, Maharaj Ji continued to bless the sangat of Delhi with his Keertan, until the 1st of January, 1970, when he left us all for his eternal abode; to attain oneness with Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Maharaj Ji's son Sant Gurmukh Singh Ji and his grandsons have continued the Keertan tradition. Devotees still continue to congregate in ever increasing numbers to listen to the recordings of Maharaj Ji's Keertan, and enjoy his Eternal Presence through the Keertan.
