Never knew of Guru Tegh Bahadurs travel to Assam not well known or mentioned in many books on the Guru. thank you for the article. The Raja's bad posting for Shivaji's and his son's clever escape is known but its good to hear of the coperation and peaceful results accomplishedAllenwalla 01:06, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

apparently there was some earlier structure built to commemorate Guru Nanak's earlier visit as it says Guru Tegh Bahadur was going to refurbish the earlier building. is the current Gurdwara built over that?
