I hope someone can find the usual paper citing the actions which won him the medal. Surely this must still be on file somewhere. And seems that someone should add an inscription on the 'Grave' ( this could be sand blasted with the usual rubberized masking). As he may have been the only Sikh fallen from the area, there must have been no one aware of the funeral traditions of the Sikhs. [[User:Allenwalla|Allenwalla]] 06:47, 10 November 2008 (UTC) One has to wonder if his mother ever got word and how the medal ever got to England--let alone why their was no report in his death notices of his winning this most auspicious medal--usually this is the sort of thing that the local press gives great coverage to--with a big headline?
