The homepage of SaintSoldiers.Net in 2010

SaintSoldiers.Net is a website whose purpose is "To archive content and inform the masses of the Sikh Freedom Movement". The Sikh Freedom Movement pertains to the separation of Punjab as an independent and truly democratic nation. The website does not intend to spark hatred or violence between any communities but to exercise universal religious and political freedoms.

History

The website was founded in 2002 by a sewadar from Surrey, BC who experienced a severe lack of information and media relating to the Sikh Freedom Movement whilst doing some personal research on the topic. What started out as a hobby project has evolved into the de-facto website for the particular topic and serves thousands of visitors around the world every month.
