It testifies to a sikh's being a life time student dedicated to the search of 'TRUTH' through humble service & absolute submission'(analysis,understanding & implementation of principles scripted in 'The Guru Granth Sahib') to GURU.
The term 'GURU' refers not to a human GURU, but 'Satgur' or' Gur' i.e 'TRUE IDEA(s)' of living dedicated to absolute 'TRUTH' & 'Humanity'.


The term 'GURU' here does not refer to any human GURU, but to 'Satgur' or' Gur' inning one or a set of 'TRUE IDEA/IDEAs'of living poised & Truthfull life dedicated only & only to absolute 'TRUTH' & 'Humanity'.
