Kara: Iron bangle
Worn by sikhs(derived from original sanskrit word 'Shishiya', litterally meaning students) to make a social statement & formal commitment.
It depicts the fact of their being life time studentds dedicated to seek absolute 'TRUTH' Through 'humble service & absolute submission'(read study/research/analysis/understanding & actually living life by principles scripted in Holy Book of the Sikhs) to GURU(tittled 'Shiri Guru Granth Sahib').
