Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, along with several devotees, came to the village Barhe from Kot Dharmu during his travels in the Malwa region. Guruji took rest on the bank of a pond. Guruji stayed in this village for the whole of the rainy season, of four months. During his stay in the village, the villagers told him about the acute shortage of rainwater, thus severely affecting their crops. Guruji advised the villagers to shift the village towards the east. The villagers did so and it so happened that the rain came at its best. Villagers due to the blessings of Guruji got a good crop. After blessing village Barhe Guruji moved to Budhlada and then to Gobindpura. Prakash Divas of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Shahidi Divas of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji are the main events organized on a large scale over here. Accommodation: There is Sarai, which has 6 rooms for accommodating pilgrims.
