Guruji's mother and his two younger sons led by Gangu Ram their domestic servant got separated from Guruji. They were arrested at his village of Sahen after they were betrayed by Gangu Ram. They were taken to Bassi where they were kept under custody for one day. Later Mata Gujari and Sahibzadas Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh were brought to Morinda by Jani Khan and Mani Khan, the Rangher headmen. This Gurdwara sahib marks this very event. They were despatched the next day to Sirhind where they were entombed alive in a wall on 12 December 1705. It 1763, the Dal Khalsa before advancing on Sirhind, attacked and destroyed Morinda.
