Gurdwara Shikargarh Patshahi Chhevin is related with the visit of Guru Hargobind to Lahore, it is situated at Ferozepur Road, a little ahead of Muzang. The area was covered in a thick jungle at that time teeming with wild animals in which the Guru hunted. There is a still a dry tank near this place which a foe of the Sikhs, Lakhpat Rai had dug.
In the British times, Bhai Mal Rai ceremonially placed the Sri Guru Granth Sahib at this historical place. Later, the Gurdwara under the Singh Sabha management. Plans were underway, by the Gurdwara's Committee, to establish a college for girls here, but this could not be done as the partition interrupted the effort.
