At Gurdwara Holan Sahib, Bharnawan a keeper of the field by the name of Sultan once presented roasted green chick peas to Guru Nanak Dev Ji during his travels. He rose to distinction after becoming a follower of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Sultan himself built a platform over the site where later a Manji Sahib was built.
