SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI after winning the last battle of Kartarpur defeating Painde Khan came here At that time allong with GURU SAHIB WAS SHRI GURU HAR RAI SAHIB JI, BABA GURDITTA JI, SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR JI (all were in there childhood) and Mata Nanaki ji. GURU SAHIB JI stayed here for almost one month and his wounded horse suhela was also undergoing treatment here. On the name of Bhai jina ji this place was named Jindowal.
