Ganika is a character which comes in Guru Granth Sahib for soul. Ganika is attributed as Prostitute. Prostitute is one who sells herself for sake of money. A Person for sake of his selfish motives, if sells the truth, if he leave the truth way of life and go here and there to fulfill his or her selfish motive then such soul is called Ganika.

For Eg. Some people to cure diseases go to Graves and bow before it, if they are said to go to Jogis, they leave graves and start bowing before Jogis, same person is told to go to Harmandir sahib, he or she leave jogis and go to harmandir sahib, if same person is called at Rome. he have no shame to go there. Ganika is not follower of Spiritual wisdom which is the truth, but for her/his selfish motives they say every religion is right.

Like Politicians, for votes they do not stick to one religion and starting bowing before Shivlingams, Guru Granth Sahib, Kaaba and Rome, but what's their motive? just worldly kingdom. Such person is Ganika.
