According to folklore a woman named Daroli was once a dancer with the Mughals who was rewarded some land for her talent. Daroli Bhai Ki is a village located about 14 kilometers west of Moga in Moga district. This was the place where Baba Gurditta the first son of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji and his wife Mata Damodari was born in 1613.

According to local folklore a woman named Daroli who was once a dancer with the Mughals was rewarded some land for her talent.
