The Rashtriya Sikh Sangat is an arm of the right-wing Hindu-nationalist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in India. A 2002 claim by RSS that "Sikhs are Hindus" led to an outcry among Sikhs.[1] In 2004 the leader of the Akal Takht stated that the Sangat was "Anti-Sikh", and forbade all Sikhs from having any association with it.[2]
