the turban i was referring to is called a Dastar Bunga | |||
as far as i know there is no such significance to the flower someone probably left it there | |||

The pix of this Sant has a rose prominent at the front of the cushion. as I have read a discription of the Hazrat Mian Mir coming to raise or rather lay the cornerstone for the Harmandir Sahib dressed in a patchwork coat with what sounds like an old Nihang wickerware tall pointed turban covered in cloth (sans all the iron Khandas and cresents) with a rose on top

the turban i was referring to is called a Dastar Bunga
as far as i know there is no such significance to the flower someone probably left it there
