Bhai Sahib, Good to see your many contributions, correcting text, ect., however rather than deleting the English notes and replacing them with the Gurmukhi script could you add the Gurmukhi after (or before) the english translations/pronouncation.
That way, since Sikhiwiki is an  English wiki aimed at spreading the teachings of the Gurus and history of the Sikhs, we can all learn the Gurmukhi alphabet and Punjabi words. I have since beginning to edit here have, all to often, hounded my fellow user/editers, to add the translations of Punjabi words and phrases.
I have returned some of Sardar Hari Ji's english spellings after the Gurmukhi you have added to several of the pages, but I don't have the time to undo all of your deletions.  Please, if you would add the Gurmukhi after or before each note, wow everyone might learn Gurmukhi!
This is of course is much more labor intensive and favors neither language.
Thanks for your help in improving Sikhiwiki.

In error I had posted the above comments on your user page. We usually do not edit anyones user page, leaving our comments, questions, ect on others user talk pages (discussion), sorry my fatique got the best of me.
Could you add a little about yourself, interests, country or city to your user page? I see Hari ji has now adderssed the same concerns, I had voiced. Thanks again for your help. [[User:Allenwalla|Allenwalla]] 07:05, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Many thanks for the useful work

Khalsa Ji

Many thanks for the very useful work that you are doing - just 1 comment though. As many readers at Sikhiwiki are not familiar with Punjabi, I would suggest that we have the sections in both English and Punjabi so that both type of readers can understand the text - as in the example shown below:

  • Aroh: Ni Re Ga, M'a Pa, Dha, Ni Sa
  • Avroh: Sa Ni Dha, Pa, M'a Ga, Re Sa
  • Pakar: Ni Re Ga, Re Sa, Pa M'a Ga, Re Sa
  • Vadi; Ga
  • Samvadi: Ni

  • Aroh: ਸ ਨ ਰ ਗ ਮ’ ਪ ਧ ਨ ਸ
  • Avroh: ਸ ਨ ਧ ਪ ਮ’ ਗ ਰ ਸ
  • Pakar: ਨ ਰ ਗ, ਰ ਸ, ਪ ਮ' ਗ, ਰ ਸ
  • Vadi; ਗ
  • Samvadi: ਨ

or

  • Aroh: Ni Re Ga, M'a Pa, Dha, Ni Sa ਸ ਨ ਰ ਗ ਮ’ ਪ ਧ ਨ ਸ
  • Avroh: Sa Ni Dha, Pa, M'a Ga, Re Sa ਸ ਨ ਧ ਪ ਮ’ ਗ ਰ ਸ
  • Pakar: Ni Re Ga, Re Sa, Pa M'a Ga, Re Sa ਨ ਰ ਗ, ਰ ਸ, ਪ ਮ' ਗ, ਰ ਸ
  • Vadi; Ga ਗ
  • Samvadi: Ni ਨ

or even

Section English Punjabi
Aroh: Ni Re Ga, M'a Pa, Dha, Ni Sa ਸ ਨ ਰ ਗ ਮ’ ਪ ਧ ਨ ਸ
Avroh: Sa Ni Dha, Pa, M'a Ga, Re Sa ਸ ਨ ਧ ਪ ਮ’ ਗ ਰ ਸ
Pakar: Ni Re Ga, Re Sa, Pa M'a Ga, Re Sa ਨ ਰ ਗ, ਰ ਸ, ਪ ਮ' ਗ, ਰ ਸ
Vadi; Ga
Samvadi: Ni

I hope you will consider this in future. Many thanks again. Kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 21:58, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Is there a way to underline text on this site? The only reason I did punjabi was to show the komal surs in each raag.

I also added to the raags that aren't entirely correct. There are many versions of each raag. No one can agree on one. Some of these raags are: Basant, Malaar, Kaanra.

You should also see my comment on the Ghar page.
