Sat sri akal! If you want to get in touch about anything, feel free to leave a message here — but in the case of more pressing matters, the safest is to either me on [email protected] or leave a message on my user discussion page on the Nynorsk Wikipedia.

Warm Welcome

Hello, Sat Sri Akal, W.K.W.F, Olve Ji! A very warm welcome from Sikhiwiki and many thanks for your contributions so far especially the "wikifying" and hyper-linking of many articles - A task which is very time consuming but highly valuable and much appreciated. I hope you will keep visiting this website and that you will help us enhance it by checking it, amending it, by adding to it, by discussing issues on the discussion pages, etc. Please feel free to add to or amend any of the topics that you have knowledge about. Don't worry about making mistakes, as these can be easily corrected.

With Waheguru's kirpa, may you always remain in Chardi kala. Many thanks, Hari Singh 20:21, 9 April 2007 (EDT)
Thank you very much for your very kind welcome, Hari Singh Ji! I cannot promise to devote as much time as I would wish and the project does deserve. Nevertheless, I will of course try to do my best. :-) Olve 21:30, 9 April 2007 (EDT)
Whatever you can do - It will be most appreciated. I know we are all busy with our lives and it is always hard to find spare time. But many thanks in advance. May Waheguru's kirpa be with you. Hari Singh 19:09, 11 April 2007 (EDT)

Hey that link to the Quiz is great

Hey, that link to the Quiz is great - I have put it on the Main page under the young Sikhs section - I hope you don't mind? - I am greedy for such ideas - Any more such links for learners would be most welcome? Thanks for the idea - Hari Singh 18:07, 15 April 2007 (EDT)

Glad you like it! :-) My current plans are to add one quiz each for Judaism, Bahá'í, Islam and Buddhism, and then I hope to find some time for more quizzes (and more in-depth ones) about each of these religions. For Sikhism and Sikh culture, more specialised ones like Guru Granth Sahib, Kirtan, Guru Nanak, Guru Gobindh Singh, etc., could be things to work on. And in case you are interested in making quizzes too...: To make the quiz, I used http://www.quizbox.com/builder/ — it’s a pretty straightforward interface, but you have to post it on a plain html page rather than on MediaWiki because of the code. -- Olve 18:21, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
That's very useful information - I tried the Quiz builder on a small test Quiz and it looks great. I will upload the test quiz to my site in the next day or so and then create a link from SikhiWiki. I will let you know how I get on. You are one great encyclopaedia yourself - Many thanks for the tip. Hari Singh 20:16, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
