Guru Granth Sahib's guidance for Muslims

Hi Kaur-1,

Thanks for your additions to the above article. Your help is much appreciated. I have just tidied over a few things- I hope you don't mind. Kind regards, Hari Singhtalk 18:32, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Relevance of page on the attack on sufis

SSA, Kaur-1, You as a woman should understand the relevance of the page, Guru Nanak Dev might not understand the plight that has now desended on the women of FATA. If you were wondering why the article was not on wikipedia-please feel free to add it. I have added a paragraph to the page re. your concerns. By the way welcome to (or back to Sikhiwiki). There was a Kaur-1 in the past and I have been worried over the absence and well being of that person's father who seems to have disappeared from these pages. Please excuse if you are someone else. Again thanks for your comments.Allenwalla 16:09, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Someone has questioned the relevance of this article to Sikhs and particularly to Sikhiwiki. It simply points out the campaign that the taleban and other elements of radical Islam are carrying out around the world. They have stated that Sufism should be destroyed and hence plan to attack any shrine particularly those visited by women whose hard won rights to education and equality are under attack. Should as one commentator (a female) recently said of the Taleban, "they are the protectors of the Quran, they will eventually take control of all of Pakistan". Sufi shrines and Mosques would then not be the only places of worship that would fall to their explosive attacks. That, womens' rights to equality as first proclaimed by Guru Nanak and the right for all to worship as they wish in safety as voiced by the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur as reconfirmed by the birth of the Khalsa to to forward these ideals is what this article has to do with Sikhs and Sikhiwiki. If ever these radicals (who make Auranzeb seem moderate) should take control of the homeland of Sikhi; Mian Mirs' shrine would not be the last to be destroyed.
