I, Baljeet Kaur, a teacher in Delhi & mother of Amita Singh am a Gurbani fan and just can't think of better words to offer in your honor for the first time...

jy myy hundaa vaariaa mittaa aaeeada hyda jly mjeeth jiu uppar angaaraa ! (if We Sikhs are found wanting in tending to our guests, may GOD{read TRUTH) burn all of us on a hot bed of burning coal).

jo deesy Gur Sikhda, niv niv laaga pau jeeo! (We Sikhs humbly bow down to your feet countless times in honor of our guest, a true IDOL of GOD (read TRUTH ).

Wish you best of sharing Ideas. It will add to the delight of Managers of this site, this Mutia & other users to know more about you & your interests etc through a few brief introductory lines on your Own & Personal page.

For your convenience, initial feel and to make it easy for you to get along with the formats, templates & styles etc of Sikhi on this(your own) Web Site, on your behalf, a standard format structured & based on the spirit of Gurbani has been added to your page. Through the grace of Gurbani, may all of us always remain in Chardi kala by crafting, sharing & jointly progressing wonderfull Ideas for all to share. Holy Bani is an eternal example of such a joint work wherein best of Indian saints wrote nothing but eternal & blissful TRUTHs in GOD's own language for Sikhs nay! humanity to share free of cost (no copyrights & money game of 'haves & not haves'. We the people were, are and will always remain flawlessly :-), straight and simple caring 'two big hoots' for every thing but human beings ha! h!) . Many thanks.

Hello, Sat Sri Akal, W.K.W.F: Gaganjot Ji! A very warm welcome from SikhiWiki and many thanks for your contributions so far. I looked at the images that you uploaded and the changes to Ludhiana and felt, may be you wanted to put the clocktower image into the article - I hope I guessed right. If not, I will take the image off the article.

Great! I wasn't sure but I am glad that worked out right.

  1. To write in Gurmukhi on SikhiWiki. please refer to Help:Contents#Typing_in_Punjabi_and_Gurmukhi.
  2. To upload your photos watch this demo: Uploading Images
  3. If you got the pictures from the internet, they are probably copyright - so we should get permission from the site webmaster. Send an email to the webmaster and see if they agree to allow their use?
