Mahakal???
The term appears no where in Granth Sahib. How do we justify its amplification as has been given in this article ??

Mahakal!!!
The term appears in Adi Gur Granth Sahib and Dasam Granth Sahib (Bachitara Natak, Akaal Ustat).
The concept and it's explanation is given as per meanings of term given in Bachitra Natak composition.

It is 'ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲੁ' and NOT 'ਮਹਾਕਾਲ'
Dear Harpreet jii please permit me to reiterate that term 'ਮਹਾਕਾਲ' appears no where in Gurbani. The tuk quoted right in the beginning of the article was wrongly and incompletely written, which i have now corrected. The complete Pad with explanation is as under :-
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ ਜਪਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਲਾਲੁ ॥ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਤੂ ਜੀਵਹਿ ਫਿਰਿ ਨ ਖਾਈ ਮਹਾ ਕਾਲੁ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ ਕੋਟਿ ਜਨਮ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਆਇਓ ॥ ਬਡੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਸਾਧਸੰਗੁ ਪਾਇਓ ॥੧॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਾਹੀ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥ ਬਾਬਾ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਖੈ ਏਹੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥੨॥੧੧॥ {ਪੰਨਾ 885-886}
ਅਰਥ:- ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੋਬਿੰਦ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ, ਸੋਹਣੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ । ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਜਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰੇਂਗਾ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਰਹੇਗਾ । ਭਿਆਨਕ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ (ਤੇਰੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ) ਫਿਰ ਕਦੇ ਮੁਕਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗੀ ।।1।।ਰਹਾਉ।।
Thus we can see that there is no co-relation between the subjects as they appear in Gurbani verses so called 'Dasam Granth'. You may please consider correcting the entire article in this light.
