a point of confusion--in the following lines
I replaced the image on the top with another one, I'd like to know if you guys prefer the latter or this one.

This moment is presumably intended to recreate the daily routine followed during the time of the Gurus: the arrival of the SGGS at the Harimandir Sahib from the Akal Takhat, the praises sung in his honour by court poets and others, and his first discourse of the day in the shrine.
== Golden Temple ? ==

Should this not be the arrival of the Human Guru and his first discourse? As i thought that the SGGS was only completed by Guru Gobind Singh and it was only by his order that the SGGS is now the earthly Guru for the Sikhs. [[User:Allenwalla|Allenwalla]] 21:43, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Khalsa Ji, should we move this page to title it "Golden Temple". Most of the English speaking world would likely search it on the web via Golden temple, so moving it would improve the search ranking of this page.

In the opening sentence, we would still call it the Harmandir Sahib/Darbar Sahib to clearly provide the original name upfront.

I had noticed that the page the Golden temple had dissappeared recently, i was puzzeled?
Please share any thoughts ?

As gold has always been associated with God, in every religion, because as men imagine God to be Akal or never changing and gold is the only metal which can lie at the bottom of the ocean and never change be reclaimed from other metals by smelting, ect. Okay maybe mercury and a few others as well can be too, but you get the Idea. Here is a world wide 'trademark' equal it its fame as the Taj Mahal, if you will and  in every dictionary in the world. If they had their way no one would have ever heard of the Place. I can only imagine sikh cab drivers going -Golden Temple what is that? You must use the correct word or I can't help you. I don't know this word the Spgs has forbidden me to use it.
Khalsa Ji, I guess we can move this page to "Golden temple". I will be making the move. If you have comments/concerns, please revert back or share your thoughts.

Perhaps the Hindus with their nearly matching mandir will lay claim to the name and non-sikhs unaware of the 'correct' word will end up somewhere other than they intended. r

Golden Temple ?

Khalsa Ji, should we move this page to title it "Golden Temple". Most of the English speaking world would likely search it on the web via Golden temple, so moving it would improve the search ranking of this page.

In the opening sentence, we would still call it the Harmandir Sahib/Darbar Sahib to clearly provide the original name upfront.

Please share any thoughts ?
