- ਪਵਣ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਗਨੀ ਪਾਤਾਲ ॥ reference to the dogmatic Brahmanic perception of today's, what we call univerese.
- ਤਿਸ ਵਿਚਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਥਾਪਿ ਰਖੀ ਧਰਮ ਸਾਲ ॥Dharam Shala(Today's religious institutes)
Nanaks 2nd set of Homes besides his own home in Punjab, where he spent a big part of his life. Shalas structured, managed, ruled, & run by FALSEHOOD during the bloody war torn Hindu-Muslim infarnos burning all over & Nanak consistently honing his survival Skills & passing on the TRUE IDEAs to the companions he could TRUST (an impossible feat & TRUE Sikhi. expects each one of us to become masters of). Needless to imagin that only Flawless beings could have suvived looting, expliotation, rapes & butchering.
Nanak here is refering to that (Ruthless Humanity which will care no love lost for no one) & commandant of TRUTH god then was (in modren sese 'it is even toay') ..stay alert & aware...(otherwise see yourself dead)......sayth Nanak ......jo tau prem Khylan ka chau sir dhar tali gali myre au..........that is the standard of TRUTHfullness & integration which Sikhi Demanded, Had been demanding till now, is demanding Here and Now..will ever demand beyond eternity .If we just brows through SatGurBani there is repeated repeation of the command .....stay alert & aware
- ਤਿਸ ਵਿਚਿ ਜੀਅ ਜਗਤਿ ਕੇ ਰੰਗ ॥It is a game of who oversmarts whome.
- ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਅਨੇਕ ਅਨੰਤ ॥asankh chor haram khor.
- ਕਰਮੀ ਕਰਮੀ ਹੋਇ ਵੀਚਾਰ ॥the drama of check parade being organised ( not to accomodate & the travellers & users of the night services provided by the Shala Management, but to accomodate their possessions in the pockets of the Managers & make the Inn managers comfortable) probably Nanak Standing in a long Q seeking an entery for a night stay in a Dharam Shala where-in, each individual might have been asked to prove his credentials . He may be pondering over a Trick to come clean & stay out of Trouble.
What happened is not the issue. Nanak passed survived on the Strength of TRUTH ful speach & passed this path & Ideas of survival to us through SatGurBani
our having followed them in letter & spirit or not sure is the issue here.
- ਸਚਾ ਆਪਿ ਸਚਾ ਦਰਬਾਰ ॥ Fine! Nanaks pen, TRUTHfull speach, & his being Walking Gurbani in Human form all eminate & finally blend into TRUTH. words like 'Some', 'depending upon', 'however' countless others which supporters of FALSEHOOD use liberally in philosophising SatGurBani no exist in the dictionary of GurMat.
- ਤਿਥੈ ਸੋਹਨਿ ਪੰਚ ਪਰਵਾਣ ॥ Who are those Five people ?? this is the only theme of this
Paudi. Nanak envisions here to replace the barbaric system of Kings (today's Haves) with the Khalsa where in in any socio-political however small / whatever size it may be a team of 5 TRUTHfull persons need to be the voteries for a Yes/ No decision of an issue.
nanak did identify 5 persons but took more than 200 yaers.
- ਨਦਰੀ ਕਰਮਿ ਪਵੈ ਨੀਸਾਣ ॥ Nanak probably goes back to the Scene of his standing in the Q & waiting to be Branded as TRUE traveller, may be with some sort of ink mark. One mistake, (How so ever trivial, during the 'check parade' & the TRUTH god (Shala Management Haval dar) out gets thrown Nanak from the Q. Night in wilderness next day may or may not happen.
- ਕਚ ਪਕਾਈ ਓਥੈ ਪਾਇ ॥ that is where FALSE & TRUE beings are identified (for sure nanak will no way accept any one but Mardana as his TRUTH god
ਨਾਨਕ ਗਇਆ ਜਾਪੈ ਜਾਇ ॥੩੪॥ A truthfull man need to demonstrate his claim. He must at least appear to have truthfully gone on & walking over the TRUE Path to TRUTH. in moderen lingo if you love some one it must show. I love you has to be said flawlessly
