The Bhagti movement page tries to deal with a movement in the time period 800 - 1700 while the Bhagti page should deal with the definition of the word. I think it is best to leave the two articles but segregate the overlap in the article by removing too much repetition and provide a cross reference between the two articles.

Khalsa Ji,

There seem to exist two pages on Bhakti movement. This page, and another page at

http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/The_Bhakti_Movement.

I think we can merge these two. Further, I propose that we name the new page as "Sikhism and Bhakti movement", as most of the content on these two pages already talks about the relationship between Sikhism and Bhakti movement. Using this name would also be beneficial to someone interested in this relationship : They would usually search for keywords "Sikhism, Bhakti" on google, and can land directly on the proposed page on SikhiWiki.

Kindly share your views. If agreeable, I can do the merging and also add another source I came across. (I believe merging would require creation of a new page, and "moving" the existing pages to that page.)
