Sikhi is against pilgrimages, regardless of the socio-political, religious, traditional or cultural justifications that may be extended. The Sikh Gurus did visit some of the pilgrimage places of various faiths, but only as historians and explorers to demonstrate the futility of such journeys and to show the devotees the true path to God.
