Where Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale already started organizing the youth, there was Bhai Fauja Singh's fellow soldiers also established an armed group, whose name was placed on the Babbar Khalsa. Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar, Bhai Talwinder Singh Babbar, Bhai Sulakhan Singh Verwal, Bhai Anokh Singh, Bhai Kulwant Singh Nagoke, Bhai Surinder Singh Nagoke, Master Sukhwinder Singh Dabanwal and others were prominent in this group.

The Babbar Khalsa launched a campaign to selectively reform the Narakdhari goons. Babbars on motorcycles would suddenly punish Narakdhari goons and used to disappear. Police reached the homes of several Babbar warriors. Due to this Bhai Sukhdev Singh Babbar, Bhai Sulakhan Singh Babbar Verowal, Bhai Kulwant Singh Nagoke, Bhai Anokh Singh Babbar, Bhai Surinder Singh Nagoke, Bhai Major Singh Nagoke and Bhai Lakha Singh Nagoke etc. 11 Singhs went underground. Now the police started raiding the houses of these underground babbar time to time. but after saying goodbye to the houses, these Singhs continued their struggle by setting terror in the houses of the wicked.

Shaheed Bhai Anokh Singh Ji Babbar (ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਾਈ ਅਨੋਖ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਬੱਬਰ)

Shaheed Bhai Anokh Singh ji Babbar(may 28th, 1957 - August 30th,1987) was one of the first members and founders of Babbar Khalsa. Bhai Anokh Singh ji Babbar was an inspector in the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.

Early life

Bhai Anokh Singh was born in the womb of Mata Niranjan Kaur in the village of Waring Suba Singh (now Tarn Taran district) in 1957 at the home of Bapu Makhan Singh.  He was the third of four brothers;  The details of the brothers are as follows: Bhai Joga Singh, Bhai Santokh Singh, Bhai Anokh Singh, Bhai Hardeep Singh.  He had no sister.  Bhai Anokh Singh Ji completed his primary education up to class V in the village government primary school.  From infancy he was humble and devout.  Since he had no sister, he was not ashamed to do the housework.  Once he took bread from the field, he was late for school. class teacher asked: "Why Anokh singh aimim you so late ..? ” Bhai Anokh Singh Ji replied with complete sincerity: “Madam we have no sister I went to the farm with bread .... don't know what was the attraction in these words of yours that the teacher madam forgot what subject was being talked about and came out of her mouth with love: "Okay! And then you make me your sister ” After doing 5th in this school, he did 10th from Government High School Khadur Sahib. Here when he was studying in 9th class, he went with Bhai Surinder Singh Nagoke who was a member of Akhand Kirtan Jatha and took Amrit. His parents were already Amritdhari. After consuming Amrit, he started Dumala himself. Keep reading and singing Gurbani all the time. After completing 10th class from Khadur Sahib Government High School, he got admission in Guru Angad Dev College, Khadur Sahib in B.a. He was counted among the brightest students in every class. It was a far cry to ever fail
