(Prabhaati) This is an Indian musical [[raga]] (composition) that appears in the [[Sikh]] tradition from northern [[India]] and is part of the Sikh holy scripture called [[Sri Guru Granth Sahib]] Ji or [[SGGS]] for short. Prabhaati belongs to the Bhairav thata and is often combined with Raga Bhairav.  Prabhaati was the setting used for 58 hymns by [[Guru Nanak]] Dev Ji, [[Guru Amar Das]] Ji, [[Guru Ram Das]] Ji, and [[Guru Arjan]] Dev Ji. This is a morning raga to be performed in a slow and dignified manner.  
Raag Parbhati (ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤੀ) – The emotions conveyed in Parbhati are those of extreme devotion; there is an intense confidence and love for the entity it is devoted to. This affection arises from knowledge, common sense and a detailed study. There is therefore an understanding and a considered will to devote itself to that entity.
