Pelia also known as Pellia, Peliah or Palia is a clan in labanas. They derived from rajput Kashatriyas. Now they are mostly Amritdhari sikhs. Their ancestors were kings. some of them were great merchants until 18 century They are mostly found in Kangra, Punjab, Jammu, UP,  Haryana, USA, UK and Europe.

They are derived from Braham Kshatriyas means they are the upper caste according to the indian caste system . They are the rulers of Pal dynasty ( Pal Vansh ) Most of them are baptised sikhs at present times. Baba Makhan Shah Lobana was a great merchant from Pelia caste. some of them were great merchants/ traders until late 18th century. Pelias are known as jewish of punjab because of their wealth. They are mostly found in Kangra, Punjab, Jammu, UP,  Haryana, USA, UK and Europe.
