Was much in demand in the 70s and 80s. He could make people laugh with his antics in films. Paintal comes from a Sikh family of Taran Taran, near Amritsar. His real name is Kanwaljeet Singh. His brother Gufi Paintal, also a talented actor, is well known for playing the role of Shakuni Mama in B R Chopra’s monumental serial ‘Mahabharat’.
